Who here watched it premiere ten years ago?

Yep...and I'm watching it now. Can't understand all the bad reviews for it. I mean, I genuinely think it is a good movie. Especially for a Disney TV movie. Maybe that's just because I'm nostalgic for it, and it brings me back to my childhood. I don't know. But I feel like the acting is pretty decent and the music is great. Some parts are dumb though...

Nope I didn't see it when it premiered 10 years ago but the first time I would have watched it would have been on dvd rented and not viva the way of Netflix or Redox but an actual video store.

I sure was! For the same reason I watched tonight (was gonna record) I had my plans cacneled! Ironic.

I did. I was the exact same age as the characters back then, so that was a lot of fun. The movie actually held up quite well over time, despite some of its cheesiness (which we can't deny, but still love anyway lol).

I did. The movie was fun and the songs were good enough to listen accompanied with the impressive choreography. A few years later, when its popularity took off, I thought it was one of the more overrated Disney Channel Original Movies.

I definitely did. It was a lot of fun. I still think it's probably the best DCOM they've ever made.

I did! I remember I was 10 years old when it came out and my best friend had a premiere party at his house. That's how big of a deal it was to us back then lol. I still love this movie despite the flaws.
