Kids...
This movie reminded me so much of Kids. Even so much as to how Rosario Dawson is in it. Except in Kids ('95) she played a teenager. Some of the scenes, such as in the pool were also very similar.
shareIts funny you made the connection because Rosario did as well. In the "making of" documentary Rosario mentioned how much she wished she had gotten this script at 15 right after she did Kids so she could play the young Laurie.
shareive never seen the movie, but it actually looks like the director was trying litrelly do a reaneactment of the movie kids, I mean the director of this has this movie set the film not to long before kids was made,which was during a timeperiod where certain sections of manhattan were still rough and thilthy ,and the teens r up to no good. the only difference is that it was set in the 80's and not the 90's

Hey, when you make want to flame someone, you don't have to flame a movie as well. Like, the guy said this movie reminds me another one, and you replied you're wrong 'cos this is far better than that crap...
It's like an invite to guys like me, who watched both movies and didn't like any, to tell you that KIDS if better than this one in every aspect.
"Senseless" fits this one better, because of disgusting directing, bad dialogs and scenes. How much of this is true? I don't know. The headphone scene, for instance, I bet my car it was inspired on Boogie Nights, not reality. Whatever, being non-fiction don't excuse bad taste...
Maybe you're too young, but KIDS had it merits when it was released, there were a message (bad setted and confused, but still...)
