Actual location of the Montiel's house (as used in the film) is 24-09 31st street in Queens New York. Since I can't add it to the filming locations, I thought I'd post it here... Look it up in Google Maps, even the tree in the front 'yard' is there! No graffiti though...
shareYou have the house number right but the street is 32nd St not 31st. The same house and block served as the Brooklyn neighborhood where Henry Hill grew up in Goodfellows.
The present appearance is different since new homes were built on the West side of the street.
I grew up on 32nd St. but two blocks North of that block which we used to call Chinky Hill because at the end of the 1800's there were a community of Chinese farms there and the name stuck although the families were long gone.
