Definitely. Not only was Antonio bigger and harder than the smaller and pudgy Reaper, but he had a whole lot more anger within him and was used to taking a beating.
But you need to keep in mind that in that enviroment and that situation nothing is fair and you'd be foolish to play it like that. Once Antonio beat The Reaper's poor little brother and knocked around their mother, Reaper was never going to let things go. It had to escalate until one of their crew was either dead or permanently maimed.
As for Antonio taking all of his father's physical abuse, this happens many times in abused families; one brother or sister takes all or most of the beatings. I had a couple of friends who went through their childhoods in similar situations.
Antonio could rock Reaper in a fair fist fight.
Maybe Antonio got all the beatings because he was older(right?), who knows.
It's possible that his brother's problem was caused by a beating when he was younger.
