what happened?

I ended up missing a huge part of the movie. Can anyone tell me what happens in between when she and Nathan Fillion bake a pie in her house and when her water breaks?

Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.

She continues writing her baby a letter, by saying (voiceover) "Dear Baby. Somehwere in the space between the pie baking, and Earl eating it later that night began the most intimate conversation in my life. About my mama, about how much she loved me, how sad she'd be to see my life turned out like this. About Earl and how he changed after we married, became someone I feared. About how lonely it is to be a woman so poor and so afraid. And then I was addicted, Baby. I was addicted to saying things and having them matter to someone".

And then she's in Dr. Pomatter's lap, saying to him that he feels like a best friend. Then he gives her a special made pie form that she thinks is the most beautiful thing she's ever seen. Meanwhile opening it, the doctor receives a phone call from a patient. When asked why he gave her the pie form, he starts explaining how he's falling head over heels in love with her, but is interrupted by her kiss.

The next scene takes place at the diner, where Drew is marrying Ogie. He interrupts the minister by a spontaneous wedding poem, and they do get married. After that, Jenna is dancing with old Joe, while he explains to her that he was lost as a young man, like a chicken without a head. "This life will kill you. I'm saying, make the right choice. Start fresh. It's never too late. Start fresh". Then Jenna's husband Earl shows up and orders her into the car after throwing and destroying one of the chairs. When they get back to their house, Earl asks her to open the cabinets where the coffee and the sugar jars are. He's flipped out because she's been hiding away money from him in cabinets and drawers, but after yelling frantically at her, he breaks down and cries as he's hugging her belly, and saying that it tears him up when she's hiding things from him. He then asks her to tell him that she was going to surprise him with a present. She says all this, but then she says that she was saving the money to buy stuff for the baby.

Then Jenna is writing the baby-letter again; "If you ever want to know the story of how we bought your damn crib, I will tell you. Your crib was bought with the money that was supposed to buy me a new life. Every time I lay you down in that damn crib, I'm gonna think: Damn baby. Damn crib. Me stuck like a pin in this damn life".

Then, Jenna is back at the clinic, and Dr. Pomatter is walking in and asking her to sit up. He measures her blood pressure, and meanwhile she begs him to make everything but himself disappear, and run away with him. He says that he wants the same thing, and asks her where they could possibly go. He asks her to get dressed and meet him outside in ten minutes. They're going someplace, and they might even run away.

While sitting on the stairs of the clinic, Hunter and his mom is walking up to her, the kid spraying his mom with something that looks like cheese from a box (I know it's not)… The mom says to Jenna: "Nobody ever tells you beforehand how ridiculously hard it's gonna be".

"Dr. Pomatter, I believe my water just broke" is the next line, and I think you've seen the rest of it. :)
