One of the best movies i've seen in a while

I LOVED this movie. I didn't really have expectations for it, but man i was wrong! This movie is so wonderful. I loved every part about it. It was hilarious sweet, romantic, and real. I love it when you watch a movie for the first time because you can only watch a movie first once, and this was great the first time i watched. it. In memory of Adrienne Shelly she made a wonderful movie.

I see a lot of people who don't like this movie. I think you just can't appreciate it because its not a mainstream major movie. This movie is so good, i just dont see how it could be hated.

Yeah, so if I see flaws in this film I'm a mainstream-movie-type-of-person?
Deep argument...

But I have love in my heart - Yes, as a thief has riches, a usurer money

I wouldn't say that because every movie has its flaws, but i think these kinds of movies are better than mainstream. They have a more deeper story to it, and its more of the heart wanting to make a movie, rather than your pockets wanting to make a movie. I just think indie movies have a better story from thing because its genuine. Most mainstream isn't, though there are some.

I loved it too. When I heard that Adrienne had written, directed and starred in the film I was really worried that it might be an exercise in self-indulgence. The plot summary also made the movie sound a liitle mawkish into the bargain. I was heartbroken at Adrienne's death and I didn't want to be placed in the position of thrashing about trying to find things I liked about her final film out of a sense of duty.

I was SO glad when I finally saw the movie. It was witty, compasionate and truthful. Adrienne should have been rightly proud of this film. It is a fitting legacy for a very gifted actress and filmmaker.
