the camera blocking was just awful. close up after close up after close up....
cut to person a talking, cut to person b talking, cut back to person a, cut back to person b.....
poor visuals that accentuated bland, humorless dialogue.
It certainly had that feel. I'm quite amazed that it did as well as it apparently did in the box office. Inoffensive is the best I can say about it.
shareOR, the director COULD have done that on purpose to set the desired mood for the film. While I realize that storyboards are not ALWAYS followed in the editing room, most of the time the director's vision is achieved there.
Just sayin'...
