When Violet hands the other girl that bowl with some red stuff in it and the other female says,"I love this", what was that supposed to be? It kind of looks like Jello with fruit in it but that's not hard to make and it certainly doesn't call for salt.

I believe Lucy's character confirmed it was Jello because I turned on the close-captioning to see what word she used. The discussion about salt was her already playing with the fact that it wasn't her creation or picnic at all.
