Okay, I recently saw the movie. I don't know if the scene with his daughter where he tells her this really happened, but it would've been a lot more meaningful if we didn't see Biggie disrespecting almost every woman in the entire movie prior to that moment. Then you gotta consider the fact that the film actually sugarcoated the way he treated the women in his life. I'm a Biggie fan...but I just couldn't take that scene seriously.

By any means necessary.

I notice men that disrespect women are the most protective of their female relatives. but karma's a bitch. the way he treated women is the exact way some dude is gonna treat his daughter.

A woman who allows a man to call her a bitch is a certain type of woman. It's like a self-fulling prophecy. He didn't want his daughter to turn into somebody like Kim.

I'm pretty sure this was a way to show that he was beginning to turn his life around at that point and was becoming a man and trying to be a better person.

Agree with you totally. The really messed up part about karma is that men don't really understand how a woman feels about being used and disrespected until he sees his own daughter go through it. It's at that moment he realizes how it feels and that there really isn't anything he can do about it because he did the same thing.

I have to agree I don't know whether the director was trying to make this a touching moment between father and daughter because I wasn't touched. Are we seriously supposed to believe that the little girl is going to take what he's saying to her seriously after hearing her father calling another woman a bitch right in front of her less than a minute before the converstaion occurs? Come on now that's like an alcohlic telling her child don't drink with a bottle of booze in their hand.

yes that may be hypocritical but don't you think it would be still be a good idea to try to instill those views on a child? Everyone has vices but that does not excuse others from them.
