that was an amazing show of loyalty and bravery
:) that's how the executive producers want you to feel. god bless her, but that was voletta wallace and diddy's side of the story. very decent and entertaining biopic overall, but inaccurate and half-truthed about the relationship with tupac (not to mention VERY generous/flattering on the casting of lil' kim).
they barely chipped the tip of the iceberg on the real controversy behind tupac's ambush at quad studios. in actuality, THERE WAS NO BLATANT WARNING AT THE CLUB about jimmy henchman/haitian jack coming to get pac.....i really don't feel like pulling up my research right now, but that whole "watch the company you keep" speech to pac was f-a-b-r-i-c-a-t-i-o-n. biggie did not orchestrate the shooting, but knew rightly that distant members of his alliance were targeting tupac and FAILED to show his MENTOR a respectable heads up - because of selfish egotism, cowardice or both.
i was rolling on the floor at how they depicted pac, ALL OF A SUDDEN becoming maniacally insecure and paraniod as soon as he got shot...HAR HAR HAR, pfff *clicks & points finger at george tillman jr.*
p.s. they should not have omitted biggie's acquaintance with jay-z (there was a 'brooklyn's finest' insert)
