i saw this movie for the first time last week and i gotta say i liked it was pretty entertaining and i think the guy who played biggie was pretty good.

but the way they made puffy and biggie n pac look in this movie is complete b.s

when i was watchin this i noticed that they made puffy look like a *beep* angel in this movie with no flaws at all.like the way he went 2 pacs aid when he got shot n how he said *beep* like "dont chase the paper chase the dream" n that *beep* out the jungle. also how they said he took that track n made 100% n turned in 200% and just a bunch of b.s. he was easily one of the most likeable characters in the movie when in reality he was one of the biggest *beep* there is. ps i had no idea that the guy who played him was the same guy who played boobie miles in friday night lights till i came here.

and the portrayal of biggie. besides the crack dealing and cheating on his lady they made biggie seem like a real down 2 earth good guy. which is *beep* cuz in reality biggie was a low down dirty thug. did u know that he one time he ran down a taxi broke the window and beat the *beep* outta of a fan who was just trying to get an autograph and he also beat the hell outta faiths friend for holding his baby boy. ya they left that *beep* out of the movie. i respect biggie as a rapper and i like his music but as a person with morals he was nothing but a piece of *beep*

and pac man they coulda found a better actor to play him. i mean AM is good actor in all but this role wasnt meant for him. besides that they made pac look like a *beep* moron in this movie and blaming biggie for no reason also bs cuz if u read and watch documentary on this *beep* pac was informed by more than one person that they had set him up. and that part where biggie is show goin down the elevator to go n help him never happen. in a interview pac said that when he got 2 ther floor after the shooting that puff big n all the other guys from bad boy where all up there and all they did was just stand there and look at him. this a real one sided story and they aim to make bad boy look like the innocent ones in the wold east coast vs west coast deal that happend.

here are some *beep* ups i noticed in the movie

one in the movie they said biggie n faith got married only 3 week i believe after they met but in reality they married 2 months after meeting not 3 weeks.

second in the movie biggie gets in a reck and breaks his leg after pac gets killed and after his leg heals he starts on his 2nd album which drops a few days after he is killed. in reality pac was killed on september 13, 1996 and biggies album droped on march 25, 1997. thats only 6 months between the 2 dates. there is no way that in six months that biggie could recover from a broken leg and start n finish his second album.

According to Wikipedia (not 100% reliable I know) they got married 3 weeks after meeting. So who knows?

hey joe blow me read a *beep* book n shut the hell up why dont u? how would u know that where not true or not huh? back in high school i really got into the whole tupac biggie thing so i read alot of books n watched alot of documetaries on it. faith evans wrote a bio and she is the one who said that about him his own wife so it aint me makin *beep* up moron. man i cant stand stupid *beep* who speak before they think or get there nose into something they know nothing about

good post, aztec. makes me want to look up the documentaries & read the books. if you can think of anymore stories (not being sarcastic), i wouldn't mind hearing more. i wouldn't doubt any of the stuff you mentioned. i mean c'mon, they didn't portray themselves as angels in real life. for anyone to think otherwise, is naive & basically insulting them (their idols ha). they WANTED people to fear them, to think of them as badas*as. it was all part of their persona. yes, extremely talented, but that doesn't make them 'good people', just talented.

I had the same issues with the way they portrayed Pac's relationship with BIG and Puffy.

When Pac gets shot They show Biggie grab a gun then run down stairs to "help" Pac out. When Big gets down stairs he is greeted to cops pointing guns at him. My main issue with this is Big is a convicted felon with a weapon. When the cops first get on the scene they run into Biggie running out of the elevator then they draw their weapons and say freeze. Wouldn't they have searched him? Shouldn't he have been locked up for carrying a loaded, concealed, and illegal firearm? Also, if Pac just got shot and the cops are taking him away and he is screaming that Biggie and Puff set him up shouldn't they have detained them and took them downtown for questioning as potential suspects?

I also have other issues with this movie. They left out alot of what happened during that time frame which would have made for a better movie. The movie didn't dive deep enough into his life and music career (i.e. his relationship with Craig Mack, issues with Nas and Ghostface and Raekwon, hooking up with JAy-z)

This movie was a good attempt but far from what it could have been.

in what ways does it make biggie look like a down to earth guy? just the way he treated the women around him was terrible.

like when he was at his daughter's house and lil kim called him and told him she was coming over. He told her not to, and then cursed her out calling her a bitch. Then he picked up his daughter and said, "Dont let a boy ever call you that." Like wat a hypocrite. i hate guys like that.
