For all the good that Carter's administration attempted such as the Camp David Accords Charlie Wilson's support for the mujahideen wackos aka "Operation Cyclone" was deplorable to the point I feel ashamed to be a Democrat supporter at times. Mind you It was just as bad that Reaga's administration let it continue and allowed worse to happen such as the Iran Contra affair and the situation in El Salvador. No wonder people were miserable during the 80s they had recession and this crap to deal with.
Don't mind Nick, he still feels a need to defend 40 disgraceful years of US foreign policy, even though hes wrong, what hes defending is wrong and the people hes defending doesn't give a *beep* about him as long as he keeps drinking the right wing media's koolaid.
He doesn't mean anything by it, he just goes into these bipolar rages and doesn't even remember he just spent four hours rambling.
Yes I'll surrender to the great army of.... Tribes Men? Local laborers? But you know what they say about snakes, the best way to kill them is by chopping off their tail.... I mean it's working for the Drug war, just keep getting those dope dealers, eventually the cartels will just give up.
Anybody remember the 1992 RNC? Much like today we heard how Ronald Reagan's party won the Cold War while forgetting that it also left us with 7.3% unemployment. So communism got it's ass kicked and so did we economically. Some victory. The saddest part is that Reagan lost that friendly salesman aspect of him that made him affable and seem like a niceguy in 1980 and he just seemed to have a nastiness about him which was a real shame.
