Does anyone get a 'bioshock' feel from this film?

Everytime I catch this movie it constantly reminds me of it. Sort of set in like a 1940's post apocalyptic world, everything is dark and gothic. Am I alone

Bioshock was - and is - better than 9 on every score, but I see what you mean.
The Hollywood adaptation is in development hell right now, so chances are Bioshock won't get the great movie it deserves.

9 takes place within the period of World War One. If it were the 40s/50s, it would feel more like Bioshock, but I see what you mean on the whole apocolyptic feel.

Saying that, Bioshock was based, as you say, around the 40s and 50s. It doesn't share the same cultural feel.
