Jennifer Connelly?
Now don't get me wrong, I liked 9: it was original, dark, and well-crafted in its animation.
However, there is one thing that bugs me about the voice acting:
Christopher Plummer was definitely the best out of all of them as 1.
Martin Landau was also quite good as 2, though maybe needed a few more lines.
Elijah Wood and John C. Reilly were about equal with each other as 9 and 5.
Crispin Glover was good as 6, but did not have enough lines to truly stand out.
Fred Tatasciore was fine as 8, but is a veteran voice-actor in his own right.
3 and 4 were nearly the best, as they did not have voice-actors and conveyed more emotions through physical movements.
But WHO had the idea to choose Jennifer Connelly as the voice of 7?
She didn't sound anything like an accomplished actress in this role: she sounded over-dramatic, strained, and fake, with the emotions in her voice sounding forced in comparison to the other actors.
Surely they would have picked someone else? I would have taken someone like Meryl Streep, or Emilie de Ravin, or even Scarlett Johannson over Jennifer Connelly!
