Boston Massacre Trial....black man allowed to testify?


I am aware that there were free blacks and enslaved blacks at this time. But would they really let this guy testify?

It would take severe courage that's a certainty. But even a slaves testimony was acceptable in a court of law in that period of American history. Most blacks of that time period were still enslaved, but their ability to testify was not in question. Thier right to anything else certainly was.
