I don’t want to be overly negative.

I’m glad this show is finally back on the air, but this is, by far, the worst season of the show I’ve seen. It feels like they have no budget. The dancers aren’t as good as they were on other seasons. They’ve mostly been using the B-list choreographers. Leah Remini adds nothing of value. The format change is what really stings. It’s basically half the length of a normal season, and the episodes are half as long. They’ve been getting farther away from what made this show great for years now. I think they’ve gone so far they actually broke it this time.

100% agree. Wife and I were just talking about how bad the top 12 have been this year. Alexis and Keaton are the only two we have been ok with even. Just a bad grouping.

I agree with Leah Remini, but they had to get someone on the fly with Morrison getting fired.

I actually like a lot of the dancers this year. I hope Keaton will win, but I disagree with the choreographers. I don't think they are B-list. I don't like Luther Brown, but he has choreographed over 100 music videos.

I think with many shows going for inclusivity can sometimes lower quality, but every single one of those dancers can dance. I lost interest with the show around season 12, and only watched sporadically after that. I like seeing different dancers and different choreographers. While I don't think that it's as good as the first few seasons, I do think this season is better than some of the last few seasons.
