Fox on Monday announced the renewal of the dance competition show for a 13th season in which the contestants — between the ages of 8 and 13! — will be paired with all-star dancers.
Host Cat Deeley is slated to return, along with judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo.
The new season of SYTYCD premieres Monday, May 30. Auditions begin Feb. 27 in Los Angeles.
I'm not happy that there will be contestants of ages 8-13. They should have not changed it! Few years back, when America's Best Dance Crew also picked out the the crew of younger ages, that sucked! I believe when they did that, ratings have fallen and not picked up for another season. They should just make another spin off for kids or rather stick with its original format! I miss old days of SYTYCD. Seasons 1-5 were the best!
Just bring the show back. I think Jason is GREAT. Just bring back those glorious dancers!!!!!!!!!!!
