Core Media, which produces SYTYCD, has filed for bankruptcy protection. How will that affect So You Think You Can Dance? Are they going to have a show this summer?

They are but I believe it's with younger kids. Premieres on May 30th and will be called SYTYCD: The Next Generation

There will be ten contestants aged 8-13, paired up with all stars.

As of last week, ratings are continuing to plummet. Ep 3 was down 20% in the 18-49 age bracket. I really hope the show isn't cancelled entirely, but ratings are not looking good.
