Dangling Scene = Elves' Descendants

Only Santa's Elves' descendants finally joining society couldn't have taken that scary situation any better. No other than a magical elf could have been there on time to catch Mr. Fitzhugh, unless Charlie saw it going on on camera. Otherwise, I would have been Slide or Josh Kovaks climbing down from the car... somehow, jump into the building, and reaching to grab his hand. It probably would have been Josh to risk his life like that, since he is the adventurous thief. A worse loop hole is having a random character in New York just so happen to be the perfect cat to drop onto the front or back window of the gold car, then jump into the building. That scene was just too much. Mr. Fitzhugh realistically would have needed help, given his age, and common lack of arm workouts people don't have.

Yes, the film is already done, but giving the idea is okay. It's all about the imagination after getting to see it. It's just there's way more to see what's wrong going on in movies that could be way better. Actors, writers, and directors would do better work taking some risks as role models, entrepreneurs, or realists... taking adventures that helps connect.

We didn't even get to see how the car got onto the roof. How can they bring it all the way up there? There is no way up there besides a door, yet there's a pool on the roof to push it in there. It would have been better as raw footage to film the disassembling the car in the elevator over periods of time, even if it's also as bad as skipping to it being UNDER A HANGER DOOR, IN A POOL, AND ON THE ROOF! Sneaking a ladder into there maybe late at night, having stop the work when someone goes up the elevator, and just working throughout the day would have been as crazy as Mad Money having everyday as serious as one robbery. How would that be filmed after the entire thing? It would be like a documentary on how to steal parts of a car out of an elevator, into some discrete spot of a room, and into vehicles over night.

the elevator goes to the roof. the penthouse elevator has private codes for specific floors.

elevator stopped one floor below roof, all they had to do was shove it out and than roll it like theyd been doing.

as for the rest; this was a comedy, not a thriller, the documentary style tacked onto this movie would have been more stupid than entertaining

please stop going to see comedies if you are going to be an uptight douche about it

The OP isn't being uptight. It turned out to be an amazingly stupid movie, because the plot was badly written. You act like there was only one way this movie could be written and if you don't like it you are uptight. It's like a product with a bad design, and not amount of re-reading the manual is going to make it any better.
