Great Cast - And Actually Really Funny!!

I knew Stiller and Murphy would be funny but I didn't think it would be as great a caper as it was. I know Broderick can be very very funny too (Cable Guy) with his drily bewildered intelligent charm. But as much as I like Casey Affleck as an actor I didn't think he could be funny too. And the maid -the big Jamaican girl - had some of the most L-O-L moments in it especially ehr reaction to Stiller talking about the elephant in the room (addressing an issue) and she says "WHAT DID YOU CALL ME" ....PMSL at that. And her flirting with Eddie when she was teaching him to do the safe cracking. SO FUNNY. Tea Leoni was really great in it too.
All round this was a much better movie than recent similar films like Now You See Me which was quite lame compared to this.

I have many bullets for many celebrities. They better not make me angry.

Kind of a down market Ocean's 11 with a lot more laughs. I liked it. You're right! Top cast that has real depth.

It was a wonderful surprise for sure and yes the casting was perfect. I also was happy to finally laugh at something Eddie Murphy did for once in a long, long time. I really think the best surprise was seeing Alan Alda in this film and the wonderful job he did. He was a convincing villain and you wanted to hate him pretty early on. I just can't say enough about how impressed I was and glad to see him on screen again. As for the others people put in good work and Stiller was his usual likeable self. A definite 7/10 movie for me as the movie was a fun ride, the acting solid all around, the laughs good enough and the ending was gratifying. If I could give this a 7.1 to 7.9 I would but this site doesn't allow it but I would say that Eddie Murphy and Alan Alda really reminded me how great they can be.
