Anybody know who's starring in Hollow Man 2?Even any rumours?Will Kevin Bacon return as Sebastion Kane?

I know resurrecting characters isn't always good but Kevin Bacon made the movie. Failing to bring him back would really suck. There's no point in making the movie then.

unfortunatley it doesn't list the actors on the BC Film Commission board's film list.
i can tell you though that filming starts Aug.18th in Vancouver, BC and goes till Sept.29th, 2005
So that means it probably won't have any of the original actors in it. It's like what happend with Turbulence. The first one had well known actors in it and then the sequels (if you could call them that) had mostly unknown people in it.

I can tell you that Kevin Bacon is NOT in HM2 but Christian Slater IS (not sure what part he has but he does have a part)

Ugh... what's the point in making it then? They could at least give it a different name. I mean it's not a sequel if it's got different people in it. I'm guessing then that Elizabeth Shue won't be returning either?
I really wish they wouldn't call it Hollow Man 2. Even if they used a similar idea and called it something else, it might be better. What if it's nothing like the first one at all? Like, a different premise all together?
I wouldn't be suprised if this went straight to DVD.

They're filming this at the building where I work in Vancouver and I can confirm that Christian Slater is definitely in it. Haven't seen anyone else that I recognize, though. Too bad we get this and not X-Men 3 instead.
shareX-Men 3 is filming as we speak....... they are also filming in Vancouver for a lot of it (though i believe they are in Victoria on Vancouver Island right now).

They have been filming all week in Vancouver close to BC Place.
shareThey're filming in The Station (the red brick bulding, SeaBus Terminal side of Waterfront Station) just outside Gastown as I type this.
They haven't blocked off pedestrian traffic, but they did put up a notice board on the sidewalk stating "by entering this area, you agree to be filmed in any matter the production company sees fit" or something to that effect. I wanted to get to Starbucks for my afternoon caffeine hit, and as I walk through the lobby, I hear "walk", and this mass of people wearing dark, dark suits and coats stream by this girl, who really stands out and looks completely lost. I'm like "am I in the shot?!". I laugh, and dash over to Starbucks embarrassed as hell... >.<
Haha I was there today too! And was too in need of my Starbucks lol. Maybe we walked by each other at one point.... I wonder how the tall guys in black play a part in the movie. They definitly stood out.

What a small world - I live in Sydney Australia and just got a call from my Mum who's on holiday in Vancouver where she just met Peter Facinelli on-set. She rang to ask me who he was and if I'd ever heard of a film called The Hollow Man ;o) She didn't care who or what anything was at any rate - was just hugely excited to have been on a film set and to have met this actor she didn't even know. Apparently he noticed her taking photos and was exceptionally friendly and called her over to say "hi" and take personal shots. At which point she utterly embarrassed herself and ME on the other side of the planet by saying "Hi! Um, who ARE you?!". Sheesh...!
shareWell that's life in Downtown Vancouver, BC these days. You go out for lunch and you maybe see 1 or 2 film or series being shot in town. Just yesterday they were filming a shot for Smallville on top of the Canada Post building. Then just minutes away they had this Hollow Man 2 filming going on.

yup it's pretty crazy right now that's for sure!!!
I've been getting pretty much non-stop work since the beginning of the summer and it's all been out in my town (not even in Vancouver). I happened to go into Vancouver the other day and saw "to set" signs for at least 2 or 3 different shows.
If you check out www.bcfilmcommission.com (then the link "film list") you'll be able to see just how many are in production and about to start up. It's just crazy right now!!!
This time last year there were over 2000 people directly employed in the film industry (ie. on-set crew, editors, etc.......never mind the places that rent out props, set decorations, equipment, etc) that were out of work for months. So now that it's picked up again, with no sign of slowing down, it's good for everyone. The problem right now though is that people are having a hard time finding ENOUGH people to work because everyone is so busy!!! haha
Anyway, good luck on your "set spotting" and take my advice and don't leave your house without a camera, paper, and a pen because you never know who you'll run into these days!!!!!
As long as Christian Slater is in it, it'll be good!!
