DTV

Will this go DTV or theatrical? If Beacon or Shue do not return, i really dont see how this can go theatrical? Anyone else have a different Point of view?

it's being called a "Feature" on the film list and, from my understanding, that usually means a theatrical release otherwise it would probably be in the "movie-of-the-week" category....

not sure who the actors are though.
i'll let ya know when i find out.......

From what I've read, this is one of many many direct to video sequels which are being made as we speak and write. It is a fast-growing trend. There are sequels being made to films like Save the Last Dance, The Prince and Me, The Net, Road House, Like Mike, Dr. Doolittle, and Single White Female just to name a few. All are going DTV as far as I know. Go see for yourselves.

my understanding was it was a feature (that's what it's listed as on the BC Film Commission site).

Just because it's intended to get a cinema release doesn't mean it ultimately will.

Usually they figure out what they have first...and judging by the production value...and the amount they spent solely on production vehicles and lots and locations (I was just on the set) I'd say they're aiming for Theatrical...though, that's never for sure.

I wish I could remember where I read this, but I read an article about the number of DTV sequels currently being made, and this IS one of them. They also mentioned American Pie: Band Camp, and a few others. This will be DTV
