How's this compared to the first one?

I was very disappointed at HM2. I saw this movie since I was impressed by the visual effects in HM1. I hope that the special effects would be better than the first one. However, after seeing this movie, I found that the quality of directing and visual effect look like a TV series that was made 20 year ago!!
I would give the 1st one 7 out of 10 marks but only 3 to this one. What's yours?

Pathetic.It is a disgrace to be even called a sequel to the first movie.Just saw this movies yesterday night & I know now why this movie didn't had it's theaterical share.The first one was an absolute technological marvel & this one was nowhere near to it.Messed up storyline & bad casting led to this movie's doom I suppose.

I actually felt this one was better than the first. I liked the plot more, and the effects just caught my attention more. But maybe that's because I haven't watched HM in a while...

First one was decent, this one was a waste of my time which says a lot considering I watched it at work and had nothing else to do.
