What the f'^´*?!!

Okay, I didn't know that a sequel was made to the first one from 2000. I didn't think the first one was a bigtime blockbuster, but I enjoyed it. But I never had the idea that a sequel would be made. If so, it could only be a crappy, low-budget film, and indeed it is, I see. Just the fact that it has been released straight to DVD and that Christian Slater is playing the main character. He's such a bad actor! Apparently they couldn't get anyone better. But hey! With a corny, sleesy storyline like this, who else would be in it?

I hope there's going to be a third one.

Does anyone know how 'Hollow Man 2' is doing with rental and sales?

If it does well, Sony may greenlight another sequel.

I see no significant problem with either actors or budget in this movie. The effects are a lot better than what would normally be the case for "straight to dvd" movies (I guess they used the tech. from the first movie). The whole fell of the movie tells me that it is not a low budget movie at all.. And I dont see any trouble with it being shown in theatres (on that account!).

The problem with this movie is its tremendously terrible storyline.. It is so incredibly boring, that I (even with better actors and/or more money) will never watch it again.. OMG what a waste of money.. Sure, there is some action, but not even remotely any half-interesting storyline to back it up. And really, it should be the action and effects backing up the story.. But with no story, it just becomes an indifferent peace of garbage.. what a shame.. IMO BORING BORING BORING..

This one was too slow and the story was weak. My wife and I watched it this past Saturday and thought, it was not as good as the first. The way it started off and ended was not cool in our book. We had to stop it and watch the rest on Sunday. Not good...

The first hollow man was an awesome and very entertaining movie that me and my whole family enjoyed....we coudn't wait for this sequel to be released. What a huge dissappointment. This movie was plain boring and those cheesy special effects...why anyone can jump around and pretend there was someone there invisable pushing you around. Pitiful!! A pure waste of time.

If you look at the comprehensive exra's on the DVD, they explain how they did the effect of 'being pushed around'. When I bought thius film a few weeks ago, at first I thought that it was just undercranked at the time of the body 'jerk'. But, when I rewound, I thought- no way is that just someone jerking their own bodies, its more technical than that. And I was right, they had poles and strings tethered to them that were controlled by some crew. These were then painted out. I think it was a better, not badly directed film then you would think, judging by most comments here. A touch of imdb bullying?....

I went in thinking this would a horrible film (the first one wasn't very good), but, for a straight to video movie, it really wasn't all that bad.

The special effects were pretty good, no worse than the first film, and the acting was decent. Overall I was pleasantly surprised (that I didn't hate it), but it certainly isn't a really good movie, maybe a nudge past average.

I didn't feel the characters acted with enough emotion, especially in a certain death scene. Slater as the main villain wasn't all that bad. (it helped alot you saw him very little, and just his voice was used).

Worth a watch at least once, but no more than that.

yeah, same hereee i had NO IDEA there was a sequel to hollowman, and it was my favourite movie LOL, well im gonna be renting this soon, i hope its cool.

The main actress in this movie was terrible! Very unemotional, one dimensional type of character. The movie would have done alot better if they chose someone else for the main lead.
