shareWell, If we're going to get into this, i'll have to say that no Horror Movie needs a squel, unless it's classics like halloween, Friday the 13th, those movies, because back then they actually knew how! now, they're just some stupid side plot that you can predict the whole movie with five seconds, and determine it's crap in less than 10 seconds.
I can only think of a few sequels that actually didnt ruin the original, however, i will not list them haha.

Um yeah, because Friday the 13th and Halloween were not predictable...
Those weren't that great either, they were B quality movies.

"unless it's classics like halloween, Friday the 13th, those movies, because back then they actually knew how!"
Wow ... that's a stack of delusion, there. And I'm a horror fan.
Well to answer your question
money! money! money!
I can't see any other reason too. The first one was a decent movie, not to great to warrant a theater release of the sequel but good enough for a straight to video release. I guess they figured there's still something left at the bottom of the barrel to scrape of.
Computer says no...
IF THEY CAN MAKE A SEQUEL TO HOUSE OF THE DEAD,THEN THEY CAN MAKE A SEQUEL TO ANYTHING.

they shouldn't do it! Simple as that
if they do make one (we can;t stop em)then strait to dvd is their best bet.
Christian Slater isn't having the best decade of his life at the moment... for choices of film roles that is.
.~=*ENGLAND*=~.
Does seem kinda random doing a sequel to a fairly average film, although I thought it was alright could have been alot worse!
I will probs still go to see it like, love Christian Slater!
A heart is a heavy burden
There's already going to be a HOLLOW MAN 3, I read about it on TheHorrorChannel.com.
Don't know if it will pick up where 2 leaves off, or if it's going to be unrelated like part 2.
like, who cares anyway?
shareWell, looks like I'm the only one here that actually like this movie . Do you have to suffer a heart attack to enjoy a movie ?!? This movie is not horror . It's SF . Takes the ideea of the first movie to the next level and it does a pretty good job . Go back to your comedies, romance movies or dramas . I don't want to be mean, but I cannot believe that none of you can apreciate a good SF movie !!!
shareDon't praise it until you've seen it...I would say that since it's going straight to dvd, it's probably not all that good.
shareall the reviews ive read say its great for a straight to dvd flick.

It sucks, go rent it or download it if you can find it.
shareI ordered it online. I have a question or two for you if you have seen it...
Jessica Harmon plays Heather Dalton. My question to you is, does she have a chase scene? And how much screentime would you say she has? Also… Sonya Salomaa is in this movie as well, what is her role like?
please and thank you.

I have the DVD for this movie, so I actually saw it, mikeb6944 . It is their loss to send it directly to DVD . It's quite a good movie compared to some others that were on the big screen and really failed to impress.
Sonya Salomaa appears only for about one minute in the beginning of the movie ... to make this more interesting I guess :)) and her role is quite unimportant ... a few lines of dialogue with smbdy that gets killed in the next few minutes :D
Jessica Harmon is only for a few minutes (starting at minute 19) in the movie :D . She's not involved in any chase scene ... perhaps chasing the mosquitos with her motorcycle :)) ... You can also see her almost in the end (minute 72) when she is rescued by her sister (this is not a spoiler since anyone could tell what would be the end of this movie) :)) . If you consider cryin' in a hall a chase, then it should be called a chase ... :)
I think you can see her for about 3-4 minutes in the entire movie .
Enjoy !!!
Hmm, thanks. I heard there is a nude scene? Who is nude?
That’s all the screen time Jessica has?

WHO'S GONNA BE IN HOLLOW MAN III,WESLEY SNIPES?
shareyep
alone in the dark anyone.
"he is like a peice of iron"
Gravy, I was just thinking a great prank for an up and coming actor would be to offer him the 'lead' in "The Invisible Man"! Of course a Man's livelihood is not something to play with, is it? (Or a woman's) The WHOLE idea is for an actor to be SEEN!
shareWhy Not!!!! Why Not !!!! Why Not !!!!
WELL,THEY'LL HAVE TO MAKE IT OUT OF THE COUNTRY.

WHY are some people so concerned about UPPER CASE comments? At least the grammar and spelling was accurate! My pet peeve is struggling to try to comprehend what a lot of people are trying to relate. I use UPPER CASE a lot to STRESS certain words that are more IMPORTANT in my message. What's the big deal? Anal???

I agree, but I would like to see a voyeuristic slant on the Invisible person. What we would all do if we could not be seen. Hmmmm...just thinking about gets me excited.
shareefen, Yes, I find 'time travel' movies, and Sci-Fi movies like this one intriguing. Maybe I got that from collecting Marvel comics as a lad in the 1960s? "The Time Machine" is one of my FAV movies, esp. the first version with Rod Taylor. I also liked him in "The Birds." I also enjoyed the original "The Invisible Man" which was released in 1933. I'm also a Film Noir buff.
