this movie offends me. it offends me with its idiotic scenario and pathos. I have never seen so much propaganda in a film. and this is about wtc. almost 3000 died and yet you pull some cop hero, revenge marine *beep*

jesus christ, i only watched it because of the director. i dont know what happened but this guy lost his *beep*

that was the most gruesome terrorist attack (not gonna touch inside job thing) on us soil, and you come up with this? Its pathetic. How about instead of telling us, show us? Show the horror, show the aftermath. Show people what this has brought. Even in 5 min news-like scene. Show the other families of the cops that died. Not only the two that lived. Show what was happening with people after. Show the public and their reactions. Show the reactions in middle east. Show the aftermath.

was the whole 2 cops that lived supposed to be a happy ending? and the marine going on a rampage in iraq? Thats so stupid that i cant event start talking about it. Its evil. Evil to the people affected by this tragedy.

This is the first movie that i would give -10 if i could.

I don't know how old you were when 9/11 happened, but I was a 16-year-old junior in high school at the time. I have now been in the military for a little over 12 years and one of my primary reasons for joining was in response to 9/11. I wanted to be included in the operations against terrorists. I can tell you that after 9/11, numerous students in my high school changed their plans for post-high school life so that they could join the military, too. The same revenge-inspired response came after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

I'm pointing out all of this because it's not very far fetched at all for the Marine in this movie to react the way he did.

my friend came back from Iraq, and around 2007 he told me stories about how they were told to shoot anything that moves in certain areas. he said one night they saw sparks in the distance, so they all took shots and upon reaching the target, they found it to be just civilians with a blowtorch trying to scrap metal from a broken bridge.

another friend manned a .50 cal machine gun on a truck and was told to just shoot at houses, doors, windows, etc. in certain towns. this whole situation is absolutely disgusting, and i am ashamed to be an american after all the lies and terror BUSH and everyone else has done.

the united states is the biggest threat to world peace and the organizers of all world terrorism. that is a fact.
