The heart wants what it wants...
Overall, this movie was great, you laugh, you cry. The only complaint I have is that although I enjoyed the end (such a sweet hug) a kiss would have been so much better. I mean, c'mon, the girl waited for like two years and all she's got was a hug? And he waited for her, or avoided her more likely, for two years and didn't even kiss her, but he would jump into bed with every woman he flirted with?! (a little lucky in my opinion).--- Read director's comment and I have to wonder what audience this movie was shown to. I mean, the girl was not under age at the end of the film, she was over 18 and capable of making her own decision and the fact that he is Asian and she is caucasian really does not matter to me. Well, I guess I have to look forward to those dvd extra features and deleted scenes.
Good soundtrack and story development, and I especially loved the Woody Allenesque quality of the film, after all "the heart wants what it wants..." is a great quote. Although I watched this movie in tvlinks, I do plan to support it by buying the dvd. I would have loved to see this movie over the summer in my local theatre, and untill that happens, I believe that we should support these great independent films (much better and entertaining than the rather bad films hollywood has put forward costing millions of dollars.)
