My problem with Confession was that they kept talking about how they broke up and how much they loved each other. However, they were never really dating so using those terms and speaking in such a manner seemed out of place. In Chinese Takeout, the line where he says "I love you... enough to let you go" or something to that effect was great. It let him express his love for her, but came across as more beliveable and less pathetic than the bawling "I love you"s in Confession. I also thought the existing ending worked better. Had they used Confession you would have gone from Liam watching her drive away to him waiting for her at the airport.
Agree about wishing Laundromat was kept in. Not only a good scene, but would have given more scene time to the Addy character. Just glad The Con was not used.
