Jennifer Love Hewitt might return for another sequel!!!

Is says on wikipedia that In September 2008, Jennifer Love Hewitt talked about returning for the 4th film, as it leaves off from the 2nd movie. That is if the filming starts next year.

ok so if she confirmed this on ellen provide a link? i've seen her on the ellen show quite a lot and all her appearances have been uploaded on youtube. not one of them however contain her talking about a return to ikwydls.

I think it would be fantastic if she did return. However, I have my doubts. She seems to be super busy with Ghost Whisperer these days. But who says we can't have a glimmer of hope? :)

This thread is so on topic. LOL. I would love another "I Know What You Did Last Summer", but I doubt we will ever get one anytime soon. Maybe a remake sometime in the next twenty years, but another sequel? I doubt it... sadly. Jennifer Love Hewitt is actually a pretty good actress if people would give her a shot and not judge her based on her looks, but she was really good in the first two movies. I could see her returning as a grown up and facing her inner demons one last time. Sort of like "Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later", but the I Know What You Did Last Summer series is dead and buried... for now.

Well, if they could erase the 2nd "Mortal Kombat" from existence and continue the franchise from the first one, I don't see why they can't do that with this series, leaving it off their radar.

I'd be eager to see what would happen with the fourth movie.

I would love for them to do another but I heard their plans were scrapped when Scream 4 tanked.
