Never have i wanted main characters to die...

but in this movie i honestly just wanted them to get eaten. The stupidity and fake emotions from the main characters made this movie unwatchable.

I wanted to punch all of these characters in the face really hard and yell at my TV because they were so moronic.

My favorite part of the movie had to be when the poacher gets into the car at night, then gets attacked through the front window, pulled out and killed. The others then proceed to sit there for a minute, then move the seats forward, somehow creating an invincible forcefield that lions are unable to penetrate, keeping them all safe.

Actually, i think i liked the scene at the end better. The one where the mom lures the lion in the car and the lion decides to attack her in slow motion, allowing her enough time to get yelled at by her entire family several times, and try to light her zippo about 6 times until she gets it to work.

I hope everyone who was involved in this production are forever banned from films.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who felt that way. When the mom managed to get the keys and then proceeded to drive deeper into the bush at a high rate of speed only to crash and ruin their one chance of escape, I was hoping they would all die. All she had to do was pull a U turn and head back to the road, but no.

Not to mention the fact that the little kid had to take a deuce so bad, they had to stop the safari so he could handle his business. (very near to 4ft tall grass) But the best part is; he doesn't even get to deuce so he proceeds to hold it for the next 60hrs or so. So either he didn't have to go THAT bad, or it was just a lame plot device on the part of the writers bring about the whole "stranded in the African bush surrounded by ravenous yet seemingly never sated lions scenario"

I give it a 3/10

I felt exactly the same as both of you.

How many people kept hoping the lions would rip Bridget's clothes off before killing her?

Then when the two Africans arrive and they make them put ridiculous smirks on, who thought that the bigger one was going to take Bridget and the younger one was going to take the daughter as trophies? With suspense still building, the small one leads the daughter off supposedly to water although the music makes the viewer think he's going to either rape her or kill her.

I could have thought of so many sequences to do different. I believe most people here watched this movie as an exercise in futility, realizing how predictable each act was. I bet the script only had one draft. Why did Bridget have to live at the end? You think they wasted enough time with the mourning before her emergence from the flames like the Phoenix? I actually thought the movie had added an element of self-sacrifice rather than one of magic to give it some redemption. Instead, all the people trying to help them survive get the axe. I really was curious why the dad and tracker decided to leave their jeep instead of driving down the hill to meet them and how they planned on getting back with the lion out there. Lions love hiding in jeeps, so just blow it up.

Did anyone tune in because the movie was rated MA? That means lots of death and lots of raunch. Apparently lions naturally killing prey earned it that rating. Maybe the movie was banking on enough adults hoping to see Bridget naked with that kind of rating rather than managing any quality. Any movie that cannot garner empathy for its characters from the viewer is a complete failure.

I liked the movie. The main characters were annoying, yes. But that can be an entertaining thing for me. lol to yell at them for being such morons. What about when the stepmother was speeding away once she'd grabbed the keys? That was stupid. Like she needed to speed away at all, it's not like the lions were going to chase the damn car.

Big Gay Al, it has recently come to our attention that you are gay.
