Hated the music

Was there anybody else who hated the music in this movie? I guess you would call it folk music. It just seemed so simple and boring. Does anybody actually listen to that stuff?

Yeah, I hated the music too and found it annoying. Especially the songs by The Moldy Peaches. Apparently Ellen Page was the one who wanted those songs in the movie because she heard that band and thought their stuff was "beautiful". I mean, lol really? To me it sounds like something a 9 year old would write, and the female singer literally sounds like a 12 year old boy that can't sing at all. Horrible...

I thought it was cute. More importantly though, I thought it fit the movie well.
What kind of music do you think would've been better?

Perfect music for the film
Think its called anti-folk?
Also people like diffident music
