So what's happening with the sequel?
Or is it dead? If so, that's annoying cos of the after-credits scene suggesting one. Same with Eragon, FF: RotSS etc.

shareOf course their wont be a sequel. It's been five *beep* years lmao
shareIf 20th Century Fox, Moore and Wahlberg make a sequel, it will be far far worse than the first.
The only redemption for Max Payne on the big screen is an independently-made movie, purchased by a major studio for theater distribution ONLY. Get Nicolas Winding Refn to write and direct it. Hell, Ryan Gosling would make a better Max Payne than Marky Mark.
Unless its a complete reboot with a new director and new Max, what kind of sad little *beep* would want a sequel?! The film ruined the Max Payne name.
shareTo be fair the film only fared so-so at the box-office, and both Moore and Wahlberg were reticent to comment on a sequel even when they were promoting the thing. It's definitely not happening. I believe the opening weekend figures (where it placed #1 with a respectable $19 Mill) were helpful in getting Max Payne 3 (the game) made, but money talks most in Hollywood, and this one only managed a whisper overall.
sharemost likely won;t happen at this point.
Im still waiting for the "Gamer Dedicated" Director's cut that moore promised.
This pos doesn't deserve a sequel
