Do you still think this movie is bad?

Let me start off by saying that I was never crazy about the games. I mean I have played them yes,but they aren't my favorite. I've had a thing for video game movies though so when I saw that the Max Payne movie trailer was out I had to watch it. Honestly the trailer felt more like the game than the movie did. I marked my calendar for the movie I was pretty damn excited about it. So let me put my pros and cons about the movie.

Pros: 1.a lot of you are gonna hate this one,but I thought Mark was a pretty good Max. He did look like him and sounded like him in a way.
2. The style was just like the games. This was a dark movie.
3. The scene where max finds his wife and baby murdered looked just like the games. The only thing that was missing was max going into the house guns blazing.

Now the cons: 1. It was missing a lot of the action. The game was basically Hard Boiled the game and Matrix combined. Where was that in this movie? It was more like a crime drama tv show.
2. What the hell were those winged creatures? I seriously don't remember them from the games. Were they supposed to replace the nightmares max had in the game? I mean I know that the drug was in the game, but was it like that in the game? They also felt very out of place I mean this is not a Sci fi horror movie.
3. Why the hell was ludachris in this? He was nothing like the game character. Did he need the money, was he a fan of the games what?
4. Why was Bb the one that killed his wife? The only character I know he killed in the game was Alex which was what also happened in the movie if I'm correct. The change to make him the one ending up killing his wife was a dumb choice.
5. John Moore as the director. He should not have been the one to direct this. His past movies were *beep* Did they pick him because he was cheap or what?

All in all it's not a bad movie in my opinion. I think fans were a little harsh towards it,because it was a video game movie. I mean it's not like it's Uwe Boll bad (could you imagine what he would have done if he had the rights?) I would have not minded a sequel to this, but I do not wanna see a reboot of this. Look at what they did when they rebooted Hitman and Street Fighter.
