So Max´s wife had to be silenced becasue she was on to the villain but why did he have to kill the baby as well??

In the game, it made sense because those guys were on drugs. In the movie, it made no sense at all.

So that the kid doesn't end up becoming a version of Dexter Morgan.

The baby witnessed the wife being killed. It was a witness.

And yes, I am being facetious. It's a stupid movie. They get a gift wrapped golden story and they say "No, I'm gonna let Max and Horne know each other duuurrrr...... oh and Ludacris is Bravura."

There's not one thing about this "adaption" that isn't ridiculous.

I watched this earlier and was thinking the same thing - Max didn't even ask BB, and BB didn't mention it either - weird
