The whole panic-stampede when the nanny jumped...

That scene seemed unrealistic in terms of how the party guests reacted. I know it's a movie, blah blah, but even so it seemed a little silly how tables were knocking over and the whole crowd was rushing in different directions freaking out. It's not like someone was there shooting up the place.

"Well let's recap the movie so far: somebody went to Alcapulco and somebody almost bought gas."

I always laughed at that scene for just that reason. However, I just saw the film again and for the first time noticed that when Mr. Thorn runs for Damien, grabs him, and then shields him from the hanging nanny that it appears the people stampeding are also running for their kids. It's still all hilariously overdone.

A woman just committed suicide in front of a huge crowd of kids. How are they supposed to act?

Dammit Carol Sue, where is the vodka?!

Also unrealistic that the nanny's head stayed on. With that really long drop I would expect her head to pop off, but that wouldn't have had the same effect as leaving her dead corpse comedically boinging around at the end of a rope (and her shoe falling oh so dramtically and breaking every bottle of red wine in sight).
