Why? Money, money, money. Pointless but not that bad

In fact after the abomination of Omen IV which matched where the character of Delia arrived from (**al sex) - I expected nothing as this movie was made for all the wrong reasons.
its so much better than IV and some of it is genuinely good. The Bit where the dog saves Damien is good. The bit where the mum is killed in hospital is brilliant and in my opinion creepier than the original. The beginning death which differs from the original in that it was a totally new scene - is really good and sets the story up really well.
The rest of the movie is at best copycat, but it does feel fresher and its worth a watch if only because it will make you want to watch the Original and best again
