Okay you know how they show that short moment with Damien wearing that weird mask? It was wooden and very primitive looking. I know its obviously meant to be creepy but has anyone ever heard or seen a mask on tv or whatever that looks like that. I know different mask designs often symbolize things so I was wondering if this one had any significance it was something anyone has seen before.

I know it isn't the same kind of film but it some how reminded me of something david lynch did once? Think it was blue velvet but not sure. I remember dreaming of witchy looking masks and hats like that when I was a kid... sorry I am rambling!!
shareIt reminded me a lot of the Halloween remake directed by Rob Zombie. A good portion of the beginning followed Michael living in the asylum after killing his family, & he made a whole series of masks for himself over the years. One of them looked a lot like the one in the Omen. I don't think one is a nod to the other or anything, it just made me think of it. What really spooked me was when she closed the medicine cabinet & that masked figure was behind her. That's such an old trick but it totally made me jump anyway!
