Funny Moment in the Omen ( 2006)

When The Nanny yells out to Damien before she commits suicide, even the puppets turn to look at her.

Ha ha I liked the thing with the puppets although I think it was meant to be more creepy than funny. This may be hard to understand if you don't think of clowns and puppets as being scary. They are often used in horror movies as being evil. I guess you could say the puppets turning to look at her was kind of funny in a ironic and dark way.

Nah, this was funny in a silly way, considering that the puppeteer sits behind a curtain and could not see what was happening! Plus punch and Judy (the puppet characters - very British) are not clowns.

They are not clowns but still have creepy looking faces.

It was probably meant to be eerie but that whole scene was laughable. Everyone freaked out like a gunman was storming the party or something. Not to mention the nanny's hideous outfit. Even if that was some kind of uniform, UGH. Wouldn't be caught dead in that...well, you know what I mean....

Maybe he just wanted his tummy rubbed :)

Its interesting how they used a different dog for that scene other than the rottweillar. That dog during the party was more sinister looking.

That's a really interesting point that I hadn't even thought of! Why DIDN'T they make it the same dog? That would have been really creepy & cool!

I took it that the black dog at the party was supposed to be a demon, or even Satan himself taking the form.. Whereas the guard dog (Rotty) was just a dog possessed and under the control of Satanic Marry Poppins.

I prefer the creepy birthday clown in the original.

I thought it was pretty damn funny. I guess it was just some humor on the part of the director.
