I think this is Tom Wilkinson's best performance, does someone beg to differ? I have not seen many TW films.
IMO, he shouldve won an oscar for this role, but he was in an unfortunate category, because Javier Bardem was so brilliant too!

Hmm, tough call, but I'd have to give the edge to In The Bedroom. Both performances from him are great, but ITB stands out for me more because he's a lead and not supporting actor in that.

I this was definitely his most brilliant performance of all the films of his that I've seen. In the Bedroom: second best.
