Would they have made it to France?

Even if the helicopter had the range to get there after all the shenanigans it had to endure earlier, you'd think any aircraft crossing the channel would be forced under threat of shooting down to land and quarantine and have a damn good explanation of who they were and what they were up to. Especially given that things had completely fallen to pieces in England.

reply

Maybe the military had a staging area across the channel.

I agree though they would quarantine them when they landed.

reply

The whole storyline and logic was a bag of idiotic crap.

reply

Also, the helicopter (and passengers) were covered with rage blood!!!

reply

The military could have been taken by surprise.

Even during the 'normal' circumstances at the beginning of the movie, all neighboring countries would have been on HIGH alert for any vessels or aircraft coming from the UK mainland.

Then when the sh*t has hit the fan and they're either alerted by the forces in England and/or lose contact with them, watchfulness and caution regarding anything coming across the sea would be trebled. Given this is a world killing disease that wiped out an entire nation in weeks and all.
