Imagine how rich and prosperous Australia would become?

Isolated from the virus - they would have the world's resources to loot, and use as they see fit - with no-one to pay, etc.

It'd be a new age of civility, and total serenity, and peace.

surely having no one to trade with or imports, movies, music, holidays, medicine break throughs, etc etc would make it a lonely place?

Australia would be rich sure, but by what standards, their own?

reply

Clearly Madagaskar would win if they closed the airports.

Australia is very uncertain - some drunken Aussie would hop in his boat and bring back some zombies from India just for *beep* and giggles.

reply

madagascar has bubonic plague, they're going to be wiped out sooner or later regardless of zombie apocalypse hypotheticals.

reply

Haha yeah. Madagascar is just a reference / meme about a mobile game called "Pandemic" where it's often rather resilient.

Well if the virus only made it to Europe as seen in the film (Paris), then surely Asia, Africa & North/South America would also be thriving not just Australia.

reply

isn't asia connected to europe...!!?

The link (land connection) between russia and america and therefore europe is sketchy at best, sub zero temperatures etc so probably america would be safe. Africa the same but given the stupidity of humans, no doubt there would be floods of boats going over there.

And the freedom to finally create an all-white Australia, and end up tearing each other apart in racial civil war.

reply

They are a trade deficit country right? They depend on stuff that other people make so they can buy it.
