How on Earth was this snubbed by the Oscars??!!
Steve Zahn and/or Jeremy Davies nominations at least?!?! I mean, come on!!
shareDespite its very strong reviews and Oscar-caliber performances by Bale and Zahn, the film was released in July, received very little press and played in a very small number of theaters in the US. Moreover, the studio chose not to campaign it for awards. Therefore, it was completely forgotten by the end of the year. Its a shame too.
I think Davies overplayed his character. He always just kind of rubs me the wrong way, but thats just me.
