Rated MA in Australia?

I think that some censor was having a bad day. I only know of a few PG13 films that are rated MA in Australia (Most of the Saw movies are rated MA in Australia) and this is the only film I can think of rated 12A in the UK and MA in Australia. I don't care how strict a country's rating system is but I love to point out inconsistencies and there are many much more violent films than this one rated M in Australia such as Gladiator while a film such as 8 mile with 200 f bombs is rated M in Australia.

Australia's movie censors are bordering on the infantile.

Rescue Dawn is well within the 12A range, and only a slack-jawed measle would give it MA.
