Julie Benz would be picturing Rambo's face...

every time she had sex with her husband after this Burmese adventure, for the rest of her life.

She seemed quite smitten with him, which is understandable, cause he was reeking of testosterone and alpha maleness, while her husband was soft and looked / acted like the typical estrogen filled leftist soyjak.

Also, she looked great in this and resembled Nicole Kidman quite a bit.

Awesome movie, easily the best Rambo sequel in the series. Got to re-watch First Blood to see if it really is better than this one as most people claim.

Easley the best Rambo! Cool fucking movie

I agree 100%. There are a lot of people who say First Blood is better and I think both sides are right - FB established the character after introducing it and was great for its time. It still holds up OK, IMO.

However, when it comes to pure, visceral asskicking and intense, adrenaline filled action scenes as well as showcasing a more realistic, gritty violence (yes, the fake blood in the last fight due to the low budget is obvious, but doesn't take away from the awesomeness of Rambo and the movie) this sequel easily edges out FB, 2, 3 and even the disappointing Last Blood. Rambo never looked as menacing and dangerous as he did in this installment.

I would like to have seen a short exchange between the mercs and him at the end (esp. Graham McTavish), acknowledging his skills and apologizing or even appreciating his rescuing them all, but even otherwise this is a perfect action movie.

Believe it or not, not everything is about sex you fucking pervert.

Kind of hard to be an incel with a grandchild on the way.

Haha I was semi-trolling when I made this post and was hoping someone would bite :D

Wuchak made a serious, in-depth analysis of this movie in another thread recently and I agree with his amazing write up wholeheartedly - https://moviechat.org/tt0462499/Rambo/5eac8896b0feee1f01b4f9ed/Four-important-themes-you-may-have-missed

Please go post in that thread and leave us perverts to pervert in peace in this one :P

And on a serious note, which movie do you think is better - this one or First Blood?

reply

Well, no doubt that Sly has been the fantasy of many women.
Including my wife and it drives me nuts when she calls out his name instead of mine!

Lulz

Also, your thoughts on this vs First Blood? Which one do you like better?

reply

This one made it easier to cheer him on as he decimated the bad guys.

I thought it was clever when he tied on a piece of that woman's clothing to take away the soldiers with the dogs chasing them.
Sucks though that the dogs got killed.

You ever see the movie starring Ray Liotta called No Escape?
If you like action movies, you might like that one.

reply

Love Ray Liotta and No Escape / Escape from Absolom is one of my favorite movies. Was lucky enough to watch it in the cinemas when it first came out and have re-watched it several times since then.

reply

Cool!
Good to know.

Escape from Absolom is a spoiler!
LOL

Yeah, it is one of those I never get tired of checking it out when I see it is on.

reply

I liked them both but First Blood was better.

reply

This is my favorite Rambo movie, followed closely by First Blood.

reply

Yes, Ditto!

Nothing beats First Blood. But this was the last good Rambo..
