Should I watch Grindhouse?
I have seen Planet Terror and Death Proof individually and I loved both.
Is there anything in Grindhouse worth watching that I haven't already seen in the two movies separately?
If this were April 2007, I would tell you yes, you need to drop all that you're doing and go see it in a theater RIGHT NOW. However, if you've already seen the movies individually, then the novelty has mostly been spoiled for you. It is worth watching at home at least to be able to see the faux trailers in between the two movies again, but not necessary.
Having said that, I absolutely cherish my Blu-Ray Grindhouse set and still keep the individual 2-disc extended cuts of each movie on DVD around. So much entertainment to go around; it's a shame the general public didn't give it a shot.
