I saw this movie at the theater the week before easter in 2007 and am glad I saw it. I liked Death Proof more than Planet Terror; however, I agree with how the movie was structured with Planet Terror playing first and then Death Proof. I felt that Planet Terror went on too long. Towards the end I was wondering when the movie will end and when the movie finally did end, it was like the movie ended without a reason other then to be over, which I was glad it did end. Death Proof started off slow with no action and all dialog. Listening to the three girls talking in the car and then in the bar was interesting. It did not matter what they were talking about. All that mattered was that it kept my attention. When the guy was chasing with his car the girls who were in a car they were test driving, that really kept my attention. When the girls were beating the hell out of the guy, I was rooting for them to win. When the movie ended in the middle of the fight, I was shocked and very disappointed and confused; it left me wondering what could have happened after the fight. If Death Proof would have aired first, the feeling I had towards the ending of the movie would have ruined Planet Terror because that is all I would have thought about, the ending to Death Proof.
