Why did they have different versions of the movies? It sais its 3 hours 11 minutes but then i discovered that each movie was released separately with 10 minutes more! Which means i have the grindhouse version with basically missing footage. That sucks, why didnt they just release a grindhouse version with both extended movies on it. Damn

shareDoes Death Proof have the lap dance scene in it? Or is it cut? Because in the theaters that one was cut, but when I bought the Death Proof DVD, it includes that scene. That's the only scene you need to worry about, the rest are pointless. The movies were perfect the way they were in the theaters / in the Grindhouse collection.
Maybe the inclusion of the fake trailers is what made it longer. The trailers are bonus features in the seperate DVDs

No they aren't, at least not on my version of both movies. I also have the Grindhouse version though. It's on the market in Canada, i guess in us as well.
The one that's 190 minutes long. It had the shortened version of each film. Honestly, it was long enough, and really only Death Proof benefited From the extra scenes.
