Talking animals

Can anyone name a Disney feature where the heroine (or anyone for that matter) has a back-and-forth conversation with talking animals? Because ENCHANTED seems to go the extra mile with this, as Gisele converses freely with her forest friends.

Generally in Disney, the talking animals might talk to each other (mice in CINDERELLA, for example) but not to the humans-- that is, they can talk amongst themselves in "animal speak" but the heroine doesn't possess Dr. Doolitte type skills, even if the animals are anthropomorphized in other ways.

I'm not counting SWORD IN THE STONE because of full-on magic, and LITTLE MERMAID doesn't count, as Ariel is a fish.

The war is not meant to be won... it is meant to be continuous.

In Cinderella she does talk with the mice. The other animals too, but they don't talk back, just the mice.

The Jungle Book too, though I'm not sure if that counts since Mowgli and the other animals being able to talk to eachother is presumably in the original book? Tarzan too for that matter. And The Rescuers. As far as I know they're the only ones, so Cinderella and Giselle are the only princesses with that ability (going by memory).
