Another way Enchanted bucks the fairy tale stereotypes.

After seeing Frozen with my husband a few nights ago, we got into a conversation about fairy tales, and Disney versions of fairytales, and he made a comment about how in both, it seemed like stepmothers were ALWAYS evil.
And then my brain went pop.
Giselle is a GOOD STEPMOTHER. She's the opposite of the evil stepmother. She comes in and makes a little girl's life more magical and makes her family more stable.

How right you are! Well spotted :) I guess she does become a stepmother to morgan, never noticed that before

She also puts in a good word for stepmothers too which I thought was very Cool :)

That is the only good thing about Giselle: she was clearly a good stepmother.
