Can someone post a link showing where Cinderella's prince is named Rupert and that it is officially canon, because I always thought it was Chris from the Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney Houston
The one with Brandy & WH would certainly not be canon. I don't have the original fairly tale to hand, but according to IMDB:
Not only is the name of the Prince never revealed, he is nowhere in the film mentioned as "Prince Charming".
In the IMDB credits, he is simply listed as Prince Charming.
